About 6 years ago, I attended a large business show that was sponsored by one of the largest and most influential Chambers of Commerce in Ohio. The Beachwood Chamber Of Commerce.
As I walked into the exhibit hall, the director of the chamber looked at me, and shouted,
"Hey! It's The Franchise King!"
Thank you Tom.
Tom Sudow was the director of the Beachwood Chamber of Commerce for years, and brought huge numbers of new businesses in to become chamber members. Tom also wisely aligned the chamber with the award winning Beachwood School District. Tom is here, now.
So there you have it. Was that story exciting enough for you?
Soon, others started calling me The Franchise King, and it just stuck, I guess.
Although it sounds like a name that someone with a huge ego would name himself, in my case I try to keep my ego in check, and just make sure that I provide professional and ethical services to those I try to help get into businesses of their own.
In the meantime, I will continue using The Franchise King. I hope it's memorable.
I wonder if these people think I'm royalty?
